I became a trainer because I wanted to help people learn about themselves and understand the steps they need to take to grow and change their life for the better.
Fitness isn’t just about building muscles or burning fat; it’s about health, mind and body. It’s about how you can make little changes in your life that completely change your direction; it teaches you discipline and consistency, and you learn about yourself and your uniqueness.
Before becoming a trainer I was overweight, unfit and unhappy about it. After university, over the next two years, I became someone who is now fit and healthy. I eat well and I exercise regularly.
But people’s journeys aren’t static; you don’t reach a point and stay there. I’d realised this not long after dropping my weight and becoming fit.

I am knowledgeable and experienced in a variety of exercise styles, nutrition and health, from HIIT training, long distance running and swimming, to strength training and bodybuilding style exercise. Some of this worked very well for me, and others did not. I have the experience of this to guide you through your health and fitness journey towards what will work best for you, your body and your lifestyle.
I have been through a number of injuries throughout my training life and have come through injury rehabilitation to become stronger, both physically and mentally. This, combined with my qualifications in post injury exercise, has given me a unique insight into how best to help clients regain function and get back on track with exercise.
