JEROME - PERSONAL TRAINING

I have been training with Richard for two years.  Originally I started to help with my lower back pain and strengthen my core muscles, and to keep up my fitness for skiing.  My goal has now become to exercise regularly in the sports I enjoy (skiing and climbing) and improve in them.  I also want to be in a good physical condition to manage a stressful professional and personal lifestyle.  Richard has enabled me to understand my body better and be more mobile, flexible and stronger to allow me to work towards my goals.  And increased my cardio fitness!

My biggest struggle has been with hip flexibility and glute strength.  Richard has put together training sessions to work on these areas.  He has also introduced me to sports massage and the self-release and stretch techniques I can use on myself.

My advice to anyone considering personal training is to have an open mind, to let your trainer decide which exercises work for a given physical condition and goals.

Since starting training with Richard I feel much better afterwards, both physically and mentally.  Training helps me manage my stress and improve in my sports.
